PokéRandomizer does not use traditional tracking cookies. We use the browser’s standard localStorage API solely to preserve your visual and audio accessibility preferences across visits:

These values remain entirely on your local device. They are never transmitted to any server and can be cleared at any time through your browser's "Clear Site Data" settings.

4. Third-Party CDNs & External Assets

To provide official Pokémon artwork, animated battle sprites, audio cries, and custom typography, the application requests assets from the following third-party networks:

  • PokeAPI & GitHub UserContent (raw.githubusercontent.com): Supplies official Sugimori artwork and official audio cries (OGG format).
  • Pokémon Showdown CDN (play.pokemonshowdown.com): Delivers animated Gen 5 battle sprites (GIF format).
  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com): Serves the typography fonts (Chakra Petch and Plus Jakarta Sans).

When your browser requests media from these CDNs, your browser transmits standard technical connection data (such as your IP address and User-Agent) directly to those third-party providers as part of standard web protocols. We do not control the data practices of external CDNs.

5. Analytics & Advertising

As of the current version, PokéRandomizer operates without third-party web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, or Meta Pixel) and without third-party advertising networks. We do not build user behavioral profiles, track cross-site browsing, or sell user information.
